Recently, social media has been abuzz with a photo shared by uploader Tristan Mark, showcasing the “lato-lato” he brought to Japan. The image quickly gained attention as Tristan proudly displayed the unique Filipino seaweed dish while waiting in line at a restaurant.
Tristan, a resident of Nagoya, decided to bring lato-lato with him when he accompanied his girlfriend to Tokyo. He cleverly thought of utilizing the opportunity to showcase this delicacy, especially considering the long queues often found at tourist spots and famous eateries.
“Taga-Nagoya po ako, since pupunta po ng Tokyo gf ko nagpasabay na po ako ng lato-lato para magamit, naisip ko po na mahaba ang pila mostly sa mga tourist spot at famous na kainan,” Tristan said.
