Ice Seguerra went through a phase in which he received a lot of bashing even from the press
Singer Ice Seguerra said that he will never forget an article about him with the title “Tomboy na, laos pa.”
Ice was first known in showbiz as the child star Aiza. It is known to many showbiz fans that Ice had a roller coaster ride in the entertainment industry. He was a child superstar after she joined Eat Bulaga but the awkward stage came and it was tough for him.
His revelation about his gender orientation did not sit well with many people as well. In a recent interview on veteran showbiz writer Aster Amoyo’s YouTube channel, Ice recalled the journey he had in his career and the low point that he went through.
Ice Seguerra said that at that time, the press was too much. Then, he recalled an article about him that he will never forget.
“I cannot forget this article, title ng article na yun na ‘Aiza Seguerra, tomboy na, laos pa’ or ‘laos na, tomboy pa.’ I will never forget that,” he shared. He admitted that kind of negative comment hurt him but since he is an introvert, what matters the most to him are the people closest to him.
Those people who are close to him are the ones who he considers important. He does not mind the negativities coming from his acquaintances and colleagues. “Basta hindi galing sa mga taong mahal ko,” he said.
Ice Seguerra also shared that because of that unforgettable article title, he had to create a wall that would just limit how much he would share with those people who are not close to him. He added that he is not letting the negative words hurt him because if he will let this happen, he will be crippled already.
