HERLENE BUDOL – Amid the criticism of her Miss Grand Philippines 2023 interview, Herlene Budol vowed to do this.
In a previous article, beauty queen Herlene Budol apologized to the people over her “dog show” performance during the Sashing Ceremony and Press Presentation of Miss Grand Philippines 2023. She quite messed up during the question and answer portion.
She drew flak for the way she answered and for this, she apologized after receiving a bunch of negative comments.
“Sa isang pag kakamali I’ll try my best to make you proud. Hindi ko po nilaro diko lang po talaga na gets yung tanong and I accept it,” she said as she also admitted that she did not understand the question.
Amid being viral, she posted her headshot photo where she shared how this photo made her emotional. In her post, she vowed to do better and train more with her speech coach. She stressed that she is not giving up.
She will start in order to do better in this beauty competition.
“Never Give up! Gising Herlene! its not too late! Everyday is a learning process. Thank you sa inyong lahat mga KaSquammy ko na andyan parin kayo para sa akin at yung taong nag tiwala at binigyan ako ng opportunity Sir Wilbert Tolentino,” she wrote.
She also thanked her supporters for staying with her and for still believing in her.
Tolentino is her manager, the first person to believe in her beauty queen potential. Before the Miss Grand pageant, Herlene was the first runner-up of Binibining Pilipinas 2022 where she also earned the most minor awards.
