Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes To Do Film Under Star Cinema

Fans are excited about real-life couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes announcing a new film together.

MARIAN RIVERA – Kapuso stars Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are set to do a film under Star Cinema and here are some details about it.

After many years of not doing a film together, power couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are finally doing it again with Star Cinema. Their upcoming movie will be called “Rewind”.

Dongyan’s film will be co-produced by several film outfits such as Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and Agosto Dos Media.

After 13 years, they are finally making a film again which will be directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar. To recall, “You to Me Are Everything” was the last movie of the DongYan tandem which was released in 2010 but their last project together was a sitcom in 2022 entitled “Jose and Maria’s Bonggang Villa”.

During the press conference of their new film, Rivera expressed her excitement to work on her first project under the ABS-CBN film outfit and with the director. She heard a lot of good stories from her husband and the Kapuso actor elaborated just what his wife has said.

Working with Star Cinema for him has always been a positive and rewarding experience.

What made them said “say “yes” to do “Rewind”?

“Parang bawat paglipat ko ng pahina sa script, walang tapon sa script. Walang dahilan para hindi ko ito gawin, especially kasama ko si Dong. Kasi alam niya, every time nagkaka-partner kami na kaming dalawa, meron kaming moment na mas tumitibay kami. ‘Ah, may ganun pala siya.’ So may bago akong nadi-discover sa kanya. Lalo akong nai-in love. May ganung moment. So sabi ko kay Direk, gagawin ko iyan kahit mahirapan ako sa schedule,” Rivera said based on a report from ABS-CBN.

Dingdong added that since they have become parents, they make sure to accept projects wherein their children could be proud of them. And this film is accordingly one of them which they believe is also worthwhile to be shared with the viewers.

The film is a family drama and will tackle second chances and how far one can go through to seize an opportunity.
