Senior Citizen Employer Arrested After She Kills Housemaid and Left Her Body on the Street
Police authorities arrested a senior citizen employer after she allegedly kills a housemaid and left the body on the street.
Last Sunday in Davao City, a 70-year-old woman allegedly murdered her house servant and dumped the victim’s body on the side of the road. According to the report, the apprehended suspect is Nenita Pagatpatan, a widow from Cabantian, Buhangin, Davao City.
Shiela Lagwasay, 29, from Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental, was found dead. The victim’s body was discovered wrapped in a tarp, with wounds on the head and nose.
According to the Buhangin Police Station, the victim’s body was discovered on the side of the road in the abovementioned area on Sunday morning. According to Buhangin Police Station Chief Police Major Joenel Paderio, during their investigation, the culprit was recorded on CCTV dumping the victim’s body.
According to the CCTV footage, a trolley and what looked to be a hefty object wrapped in tarpaulin were being moved around. The suspect denied any involvement in the victim’s murder, although a trolley was discovered in his house, as seen on CCTV, and traces of blood were also discovered on the second floor of Pagatpatan’s residence.
It was discovered that the woman had left her two children to work as a maid for the suspect for six months. While preparing the case against Pagatpatan, the police investigation continues to uncover the true motivation. Authorities are also looking for a possible accomplice in the murder.
