Pastora Who Allegedly Kidnapped Neighbor’s 7-year-old Son Arrested in Iloilo

Police authorities arrested a pastora after she allegedly kidnapped the 7-year-old son of her neighbor in hide it in an abandoned house in Iloilo.

The accused suspect was described as Julie Rose Recalde, 40, of Barangay Luca, Ajuy, Iloilo, and pastora of a Presbyterian church in Iloilo City, according to the report. Recalde was apprehended in their village in an abandoned house.

According to Lt. General Enrique Robles, chief of the Ajuy Municipal Police Station, the suspect kidnapped the boy when he was playing outside their home. It led the youngster to an abandoned house.

The incident was promptly reported to village officials by the boy’s mother.  They then searched for the boy and the woman but were unsuccessful. They reported the event to police authorities the next morning.

According to Robles, they responded to the location immediately after receiving a report from the barangay officials. When the cops knocked, they got no response. Robles stated that they did not force their way into the residence until they received permission from the owner.

Recalde had taken refuge above the ceiling. She was also informing cops that she was carrying a knife. They spoke with the suspect before approaching him and handing him the knife.

According to the chief, the suspect had no intention of injuring the youngster. The investigation indicated that the suspect suffers from a mental illness. The suspect claimed that he brought the child to the abandoned house’s ceiling after witnessing a ghost.

When police arrived to retrieve the boy, they discovered that the mother had also brought a 10-year-old girl with her. Both children were physically unharmed.  The victim’s family is adamant about charging the suspect.
