Randy Santiago said that he is observing what is happening right now in noontime shows
Seasoned singer-TV host-director Randy Santiago has this reaction when asked about the Eat Bulaga issue.
Randy has hosted a noontime show in the past. He, together with Willie Revillame and John Estrada, hosted the defunct Kapamilya noontime show Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB) which rivaled the longest-running noontime show on the Kapuso network.
Aside from doing hosting stints, Randy also directs shows now. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, he shared that he is still in touch with his former co-hosts.
When asked if he and Willie Revillame are talking about noontime shows, Randy Santiago said that they haven’t talked about this because the controversies happened just recently.
“In the meantime, nag-o-observe lang ako dahil hindi natin alam yung mga susunod na mangyayari, di ba? We don’t know what’s happening and I am very sure na alam niyo rin yung sa Eat Bulaga,” the singer-host said.
Randy also said that it is quite surprising because everything happened so fast. He also took notice of how the new Eat Bulaga was able to gather stars to be the new hosts.
The seasoned celebrity was also asked if he is open to hosting the EB revamp. He said that right now, there is no offer for him yet. They were supposed to fix the noontime of ALLTV. Randy also shared that there is a possibility that he might go back to It’s Showtime because, for a time, he was one of the judges in Tawag ng Tanghalan.
“So, open naman tayo anywhere. Open tayo sa lahat,” Randy Santiago said.
