Rendon Labador Share Thoughts on Paolo Contis Being Host of Eat Bulaga
Controversial social media personality Rendon Labador shares thought on Paolo Contis being the host of the new Eat Bulaga.
The so-called motivational speaker and online influencer resorted to social media to criticize one of the new hosts of Eat Bulaga, the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines. The noontime show returned to air on Monday, June 5, 2023, with a new host lineup that included Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar, Betong Sumaya, Alexa Miro, and the Legaspi brothers.
They were apparently widely lambasted by netizens, particularly Paolo. Netizens even brought up the actor’s previous “sustento” problem. Paolo stated earlier this year that he did not provide financial support to his daughters with Lian Paz.
In the midst of the criticism, he urged the people to give him and his co-hosts a chance. He also stated that he, Betong Sumaya, and Buboy Villar had no intention of replacing or competing with TVJ, the legendary trinity of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
Rendon Labador is one of many who has criticized Paolo Contis. He chastised the actor-host for reportedly being overly enthusiastic about awarding prizes on the show while failing to pay child support.
“Anong klaseng pag katao mayroon si Paolo Contis at natitiis niyang mag bigay ng pa-premyo sa taong bayan habang nagugutom ang mga anak? Patigasan nalang ng muka bro?” he stressed.
“Alam kong nakakatawa ka, pero huwag mo namang gawing nakakatawa pati buhay mo” he added.
In the photo which he shared on Facebook, he noted, “Paolo Contis Ang tigas ng muka mong mag host habang nagugutom ang mga anak mo. Sustento muna bago pa-premyo!”
In the comment section, Rendon added, “Sisikat ka na sana ulit Paolo Contis kung nag bibigay ka ng sustento.”
