Teen who Harassed and Killed 8-year-old Girl Found Dead Inside Custodial Center
Authorities found the teen who harassed and killed an 8-year-old girl dead inside the custodial center in Lucena City.
Sunday morning, June 4, the accused harassment suspect was discovered dead in the bathroom of the custodial facility on Dalahican provincial road, Barangay Mayao Crossing in this city. The deceased, a 19-year-old man, was arrested for r4pe and the murder of an eight-year-old daughter.
According to a Lucena City police report from 12:45 a.m. When an inmate spotted the suspect, Julius Rodas, 19, he alerted the duty custodial facility and informed the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office- Emergency Response Team (ERT). He was sent to Quezon Medical Center but died.
Based on the report, Rodas was arrested by Lucena City police for the r4pe and murder of an 8-year-old girl whose body was discovered in a deserted lot in Barangay Gulang-gulang on May 31.
Coincidentally, the suspect reported to the barangay officials who discovered the toddler’s body. However, based on the CCTV footage gathered by the police, he was identified as the culprit.
The suspect revealed to the police that he committed the crime after using solvent. However, the suspect’s father did not believe the crime was committed because his son apparently had a moderate mental disorder.
