Rumor has it that Paolo Contis is being considered to be a host of the new Kapuso noontime show
Actors Paolo Contis and Joross Gamboa reacted to the rumor that they will replace the TVJ in the new Kapuso noontime show.
Following the decision of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, along with other Dabarkads, to leave TAPE Inc. the noontime slot on GMA was vacated. This left many questions unanswered.
TAPE still has an existing contract with GMA until 2024. Without the hosts and production staff, the production company owned by Romy Jalosjos, need to find replacement.
Entertainment writer Gorgy Rula said in his article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, that director Louie Ignacio is once again being considered to direct the noontime show. However, Rula said that based on the latet conversation they had with the director, he already said that he will turn down this offer.
Then, the showbiz writer shared that as what they heard, the management is very eager to find new hosts for the noontime show and it is quite expected the talents from Sparkle will be included.
“Lumutang ang mga pangalang Gabbi Garcia, Betong Sumaya, Charyze Solomon, Archie Alemania, at magkakapatid na Mavy at Cassy Legaspi,” Rula shared.
The writer also said that there were suggestions pointing Paolo Contis and Joross Gamboa, together with Archie Alemania, as replacements. With this rumor, Rula asked Paolo but the actor denied this. Paolo said that he has no idea about this and no one has talked to him about this.
When Rula asked talent manager Noel Ferrer, the one handling Joross Gamboa’s career, he also clarified that he has no idea about this. The showbiz writer added that TAPE will still use the Eat Bulaga title.
