How true is it that actress Liza Soberano already has a new boyfriend and that she broke up with actor Enrique Gil a long time ago?

Rumor has it that Liza is already in a new relationship. This rumor surfaced following the statement of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel. He shared that a source revealed to him that Liza and Enrique are no longer together.

This statement came months after the breakup rumors started to circulate. However, LizQuens are definitely going against this. Fans of Liza and Enrique believe that they are still together.

Entertainment writer Salve Asis shared in her recent write-up in Pilipino Star Ngayon that Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil have long been separated. “Diumano ay may bagong boyfriend na actually si Liza na foreigner,” Asis wrote in her article dated June 1, 2023.

The writer added that obviously, Liza and Enrique now have different career plans. The actress started pursuing a career in Hollywood while the actor has recently renewed his contract with ABS-CBN’s talent management firm, Star Magic.

As of writing, Liza and Enrique haven’t released a statement yet about the rumored breakup.

To recall, even before the revelations from Ogie’s source, rumors have been circulating that the LizQuen tandem has ended their relationship. Many showbiz fans also noticed that in Liza’s interviews, especially the podcast interview in which she talked about the loveteam culture in the Philippine entertainment industry, she did not mention Enrique, her loveteam partner for many years, and her boyfriend in real life.

Amid the career transition and the rebranding that Liza Soberano is doing, Enrique has been very vocal about his support for the actress.
