4-Year-Old Boy Found Dead in Washing Machine
In a distressing incident, the lifeless body of a 4-year-old boy was discovered inside a washing machine in Barangay CAA, Las Piñas.
The family of the four-year-old victim had been sleepless for two days, searching for him. When they finally saw the young child again, he was already in a state of decomposition. The child was found inside the washing machine at the house of his 15-year-old uncle, whom the family had entrusted to take care of him.
The suspect’s mother discovered the gruesome secret in the washing machine after the smell of the corpse permeated the air. The victim’s grandfather had previously reported to the barangay that his youngest grandchild had gone missing on May 26, 2023.
Based on the statement given by the suspect’s mother to the police, the child allegedly had an accident. The suspect allegedly heard a loud thud on the stairs. The uncle became frightened upon seeing that his nephew was no longer moving.
In a panic, he took the child and hid him inside the washing machine. However, the victim’s grandfather was not convinced by the suspect’s alibi. He insisted that a crime had occurred and it was not just an accident.
According to the grandfather, aside from the suspicious explanation, the suspect also made a post on his social media account implying that he had killed his 4-year-old nephew. The police are still awaiting the results of the victim’s autopsy to determine if foul play was involved in his death.
For now, the 15-year-old suspect has been taken to a facility run by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). According to the victim’s grandfather, they may forgive the teenager, but they are determined to hold him accountable.
