Joshua Garcia On Possibility Of Working Again w/ Julia Barretto

JOSHUA GARCIA – Kapamilya actors Joshua Garcia has this answer when asked if he’s willing to work with Julia Barretto again.

Former reel-to-real-life sweethearts Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto were among the most popular love team before. However, their split in real life also led to the disbandment of their love team called JoshLia.

Their last project together onscreen was the music video for Moira dela Torre’s ‘Paubaya’ which went viral. To recall, their highly publicized split happened in 2019 but despite the separation, they remained friends.

Now, what did Joshua say about working with his former love team again?

The recent Fast Talk With Boy Abunda features the Kapamilya actor and in this interview, he was asked about this possibility.

They are okay and he added a revelation. Accordingly, a project is being offered to him but the thing is, they could not find him a partner yet. This dilemma led him to think and consider Barretto. For him, she’s a perfect fit for the role.

“Pero yung usapan, hindi ko alam kung anong nangyayari, pero sana, payagan ng management si Julia,” he said based on a report from GMA and he is hopeful to be working with her again. This only means that is to working with her despite their quite controversial past.

Meanwhile, Joshua is among the stars of “Unbreak My Heart”, an upcoming series from the historic collaboration between GMA Network, ABS-CBN, and Viu Philippines. The other stars of this series are Jodi Sta. Maria, Gabby Garcia, and Richard Yap.

This will air on Mondays to Thursdays starting May 29. You can catch this on GMA Telebabad, Pinoy Hits, and I Heart Movies at 9:35 p.m. and 11:25 p.m. on GTV. It will also be on GMA Pinoy TV and TFC and there will be an advanced screening this May 27 on GMANetwork.com, iWantTFC, and Viu at 9 PM.
