Man in Oriental Mindoro Passes LET After it 13 Times of Attempt

Man from Oriental Mindoro Takes Board Exam for Teachers or LET Passed After the 13 Times

A man in Oriental Mindoro has passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) after allegedly taking the exam 13 times.

The man passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) for the 13th time after failing 12 times. According to a GMA News interview, Oliver Landicho of Socorro, Oriental Mindoro, was among 72,000 examinees who passed March 2023 LET.

“Wala sa isip ko na titigil ako na mag-take ng board. Sabi ko, tuloy-tuloy lang. Ang sa akin kasi, gusto ko makuha ‘to, gusto ko mapatunayan sa sarili ko, gusto ko may regalo ako sa mommy ko. Gusto kong makapasa talaga na matagal ko nang hinihintay,” said Landicho, whose first dream was to become a priest.

Oriental Mindoro Man LET

Landicho scored 78.80 on his 13th attempt at the LET. Landicho is the second of three siblings, and his father, a retired teacher, motivated him to become a teacher. His teachers, in addition to his father, inspired him to become a teacher.

Landicho is now a university professor at Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. His desire of teaching in a public school will come true, though, because he passed the LET. Landicho is just waiting for his oath to be taken and his license to be issued.

“Isipin lang lagi natin na may bagong umaga. May araw na sisikat para sa atin. Maging matibay lang tayo. Kasi ‘yung ganyang pagsubok matuto tayong maghintay. Patience lang ang kailangan,” advised Landicho.
