Jennica Garcia was asked about Christian Bables
Actress Jennica Garcia revealed her real relationship status with her Dirty Linen co-star Christian Bables.
Jennica and Christian had the chance to work together in the said Kapamilya primetime series which also features Janine Gutierrez and Zanjoe Marudo. Following the release of the series, netizens noticed the close between Jennica and Christian.
Through their conversation on social media, netizens started to ship them. The rumors that they are sharing a romantic relationship now even took a higher notch when Christian surprised Jennica on Mother’s Day.
The actress now has two kids with her estranged husband Alwyn Uytingco. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Jennica Garcia clarified the relationship status that she has now with Christian Bables.
She said that the actor is a good friend and they are treating each other like siblings. “Ito nga po, promise po — lalo na po by now, pakiramdam ko po na malalaman naman ng tao if I’m lying or not — wala po talaga. Wala po talagang romantic na dating or anything like that between me and Christian,” she said.
Jennica added that people might have speculated that there is something romantic between them due to how they effectively portrayed their characters, Lala and Max.
The actress also expressed gratitude to Christian as a friend. She said that the actor is really sweet and thoughtful. She also mentioned that they were together on Mother’s Day.
Jennica shared that Christian loves to eat and would order food. He does not want to eat alone and so they are always eating together.
“Na-touch naman ako kasi lagi siyang nag-aaya simula noong natapos yung [taping] ng Dirty Linen, hindi ko siya laging napagbibigyan, hanggang hindi na niya ako binigyan ng choice noong Mother’s Day,” the actress shared.
Jennica Garcia said that Christian Bables invited her to have dinner with his mom. That was just for an hour and the actor drove her home.
