A lady netizen goes viral and earns praises online after sharing her success story after years of hardwork.
Olabey Desu, a Facebook user, shared their incredible before-and-after pictures of their home on the popular online community “Home Buddies.” Their journey serves as an inspiration to many, showcasing the power of hard work and sacrifice in achieving dreams.
Olabey revealed that she purchased their house in Dasmariñas, Cavite, using tips earned from their nearly decade-long hard work as a performer and dancer in Fukushima, Japan. The photos showcased the significant improvements made to the house, transforming it into a comfortable and inviting space for their family.
“Anim po kami magkakapatid wala na po ‘yung isa. So bale 5 na lang. ‘Yung unang picture po ganoon po ‘yung set up namin pagnagsi-sleep over ang kuya ko kasama family niya. Last year ko po nabili house at itong January lang po nakalipat,” Desu said.
The lady netizen humbly mentioned that most of their tips went straight towards the house, while their regular salary was sent back home to support their family’s expenses.
Not only did Desu achieve the dream of owning a house, but she also helped their two siblings in completing their studies and are currently providing for their children’s education.
The fulfillment of her dreams brought immeasurable joy. She expressed that her own dreams were now being experienced by her siblings, and this brought them double and triple the happiness.
“‘Yung kahit naubos yung ipon ko masaya ‘yung puso ko kasi safe na sila,” she added.
Despite her hard work and dedication to supporting her family, Olabey emphasized the importance of self-care. She recently treated her family to a two-week trip to five countries with their sister, ensuring that they take time to enjoy life’s experiences and avoid regrets.
