Is it true that Teacher Georcelle wanted to direct the concert of Sarah Geronimo?
A source of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed that Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy, the head of G-Force, wanted to be the director of the 20th-anniversary concert of Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo.
The issue between Sarah and G-Force is apparently not yet over. Following the statement made by Teacher Georcelle, a source coming from Sarah’s side shared a different story.
To recall, the choreographer said that it was a creative difference between her and the Popstar Royalty. Teacher Georcelle said that with this, she decided to pull G-Force out of the concert.
Amid this issue, Sarah Geronimo only has good words for G-Force and its head. In a recent episode of Ogie Diaz’s Showbiz Update vlog, he shared that a source said that Teacher Georcelle wanted to be the concert director.
It was also said that during Sarah’s TALA concert, the singer-actress just followed everything that Teacher Georcelle wanted to happen. For her 20th-anniversary concert, Sarah is not just a producer but also the co-director.
The source said that Sarah wanted to do and express her creative side as well. She wanted to feature other dancers in her concert to celebrate the dance community. However, it was said that Teacher Georcelle just wanted the G-Force to be the backup dancers.
Paulo Valenciano, the director of the concert, also said that he will just step down if Teacher Georcelle will direct because they will just clash. In the end, Sarah Geronimo made a tough decision.
Ogie also shared that the source said that there was indeed a demand letter from Teacher Georcelle ordering a payment worth P150,000 every time her choreography will be used and 20 percent commission for recorded videos with her choreography like music videos and such.
