Where is Tom Rodriguez now?
Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez has been on hiatus for several months and show producers in the States are wondering how they can contact him.
To recall, Tom deactivate his Instagram page in February this year. It was after his ex-wife Carla Abellana’s interview on Boy Abunda’s Fast Talk. It is known to many showbiz fans that Carla and Tom’s breakup was the talk of the town for several months.
Controversial issues surfaced when it was confirmed that they are no longer together. At the height of this controversy, Tom went to the States and stayed with his family there.
When things started to be quiet again, Tom Rodriguez did some TV appearances and had interviews. Previously, he shared that he has been doing shows in the US. He even had a show with Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas late last year.
However, when he deactivated his Instagram page last February, show producers started to worry. It is because there is no way for them to contact the actor if they want to get him as a talent, based on the article by entertainment writer Ruel Mendoza in Pang-Masa.
Tom’s @akosimangtomas IG account can no longer be located on the photo-sharing social media platform. When his name is searched on the said social media site, only fan accounts are appearing.
The columnist also shared that many IG followers of Tom Rodriguez were saddened when he deactivated his account. “May iba kasing followers ang actor na producers ng shows sa US kaya problemado sila kung paano nila makontak ang aktor para mag-show sa ilang Filipino communities,” Mendoza shared.
The writer added that there are still a lot of fans who feel “panghihinayang” to what happened to Tom and Carla’s relationship.
