Sarah Geronimo Issue w/ G-Force: "It's like a breakup"

Due to artistic differences, Sarah Geronimo and G-Force have to part ways after 16 years of collaboration.

SARAH GERONIMO – After 16 years of working together, Sarah Geronimo and G-Force have parted ways and it’s like a breakup.

In a previous article, G-Force choreographer Teacher Georcelle admitted that due to artistic differences, she had to take out her dancers two months before the much-anticipated concert of Sarah Geronimo. The concert was for her 20th year anniversary in show business.

It ended successfully despite the absence of G-Force.

Teacher Georcelle’s decision was respected by her dancers and this decision was also to show Sarah her support as she embarks on a new journey she would like to take in her career.

She then furthered that what happened between them was like a breakup.

“This process was painful for G-Force. Most of them cried, especially the choreographers who have been training hard to bring out the best in her. It’s like a breakup. SG wants something else, I want her to exercise that artistic freedom,” Teacher Georcelle stressed.

She also clarified that no demand letter was sent to the camp of the Popstar Royalty. It was a personal letter as she doesn’t have anything to demand from them as no work was done.

The personal letter was something she did “quote for the price of the use of her copyrighted works”. She firmly stated that she did not demand anything.

She added, “Not being a part of her 20th is my gift of freedom so she can fully express her creative dreams.”

Despite the issue and the “breakup”, the G-Force head clarified that she and Sarah remained friends. To recall, during the concert, Sarah actually expressed her love for the group.
