This is what Lakam, sister of Kim Chiu, shared about her hospitalization.
KIM CHIU – Kam Chiu is the sister of Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu and recently, she spoke of her condition and critical condition.
Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu’s older sister Lakam opened up about her recent 18-day hospitalization. To recall, on the day of the actress’ birthday, Lakam got hospitalized and only gained consciousness days after she was admitted.
She was also put in the ICU.
In a previous article, Kam expressed her gratitude for the actress. She is still in recovery but she is now doing much better compared to the first days she was in a hospital.
In a post, Lakam shared her 18-day hospitalization and revealed that she went to a “very critical stage” that has put her family in a place to make a “life-changing decision”. She did not disclose what put her in a critical condition but she did share that got discharged from the hospital on May 5.
During her first five days in the hospital, she was accordingly unable to use her senses such as her hearing and vision. She also could not able to speak.
She added, “Being in this kind of situation is no joke. My family had to make a life changing decision without them knowing if I could make it or not.”
In the same post, she thanked her doctors and all the people who prayed for her recovery. She thanked her family and she did mention Kim in her post. She thanked her for her positivity and strength – factors that “played a really big part” in her recovery.
