Claudine Barretto Makes Revelations About Rivalry w/ Judy Ann Before

Among the biggest, iconic, and most successful stars of the Philippine show business industry are Judy Ann Santos and Claudine Barretto. They were the A-listers of their generation and they are both drama queens.

They are both on top and people can’t help but pit them against each other to prove who is better.

It created a “rivalry” but despite these, the two of them were actually friends in real life.

Because of this “rivalry”, Claudine remembered how they were prohibited to see each other. Such rivalry was created by their supporters and some even thought that they never get along.

However, it was actually the contrary.

“But in truth is that even nung debut niya [May 1996 ], right after, I remember that was a Sunday and everything was closed, the after-party was in my condominium… Ang dami naming pinagdaanan ni Judy Ann. It’s just that during that time, we couldn’t… kumbaga, para kaming mag-boyfriend-girlfriend ni Judy Ann,” she recalled and shared during her interview in Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.

She even vividly recalled a statement Juday said when she was told that she is the “Teleserye Queen”. Accordingly, Juday’s response to this was:

‘No. Claudine and I share this title.’

And she will never forget this. This proved to her why Juday is the star that she is now. She quipped, “Queen supports queens” and the host agreed to this.

Claudine is slowly returning to showbiz by accepting acting projects while Juday lied low. she focused on her business and her family.
