Joshua Garcia Let Go Of His Fancy Vehicles: ‘Hindi pala nakakaguwapo’

Joshua Garcia wants to be a reasonable spender

Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia shared that he let go of his fancy vehicles as those did not fit the lifestyle that he wants.

Luxury comes with the life of the rich and famous. It is quite normal to see celebrities owning luxury or expensive items. For some, this is a form of investment while for others, these items are sort of rewards for their hard work.

In Joshua’s case, he prefers a simpler lifestyle. Just like many celebrities, the actor also had a lot of realizations amid the pandemic.

During a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, the actor was asked about his Triumph Bonneville T150 motorcycle. He posted a photo of this model which is worth approximately P885,000.

Wala, gusto ko lang i-flex yung bike ko, bakit? Yan yung mga time na motorista pa ako,” Joshua Garcia jokingly said. He shared that now, he returned to being a “motorista” but he wants something cheaper.

Bumili ko ng Vespa, parang gusto ko na laruan na motor lang. Parang gusto ko na nga mag-ride, e, kaya lang wala pa kong time ngayon,” the actor said.

Talking about his motorcycle, Joshua said that it is quite a hassle when he’s riding big motorcycles because he can let it go between small spaces.

More than anything, the intention to downsize was what prompted him to simplify what he wants to have. Aside from his Triumph Bonneville T150 motorcycle, he also sold his Dodge Challenger car, which is worth approximately P5 million.

Joshua Garcia said that the car was “ang bigat dalhin.” “Bibili ka ng motor na maganda, hindi ko pala siya kailangan sa buhay ko. Sad,” the actor shared. He added that when he sold his motorcycle, it only ran for 79 kilometers and the longest distance it traveled was from Quezon City to Mandaluyong City.

He admitted that after the pandemic, he reflected and decided to discard the material things that do matter to him the most. The actor learned to be practical. Joshua also shared that fortunately, he was able to sell his Dodge Challenger at a price close to its original value.

Ginamit ko lang pampapogi, hindi pala nakakaguwapo,” the actor said about his car.
