Ryan Bang Reveals Offer From South Korean Entertainment Group

In an interview, Ryan Bang shares an offer from a South Korean entertainment group and his plans for them.

RYAN BANG – Kapamilya comedian Ryan Bang shares his plans about the offers he receives from entertainment groups in South Korea.

A full South Korean guy but Pinoy at heart is Kapamilya comedian Ryan Bang and he is loved by many Filipinos because of this. After joining a PBB Teen edition, he fully embraces his life and career here in the Philippines.

He has adapted to life here and after years of hard work in show business, he was able to build his business. He owns a parlor and a food business.

But behind his success is actually a story about the offers he has received from South Korea.

In an interview with Direk Lauren Dyogi, he shared that before the pandemic, he was offered to become an idol but it would take him five years to train. And he could not afford this.

He has met the head of SM and they were interested in getting him for SM Ent, an arm of the company that focuses on hosting and other stuff about entertainment. And if he agreed, he will be required to stay in South Korea entirely.

“Parang wala pa ko puso na grab ko yung chance ng SM,” he said. One of the things he also considered for turning down the offer is the strict rules. He will also be not allowed to come to the Philippines and all of his movements will be restricted.

And this would accordingly be hard on his part whose personality now is very much Filipino.

He decided to stay. But he makes appearances in several shows as a guest and translator. He also had offers to star in television series and movies.

“May kinukuha sa akin mga movie, mga teleserye. Nag-pandemic bigla eh so siguro, yung mga ganun, tatanggapin ko na,” he said. But his heart really belongs here and so far, he has not regretted a single decision that he has made.
