Jhong Hilario and Ryan Bang Magpasikat 2022 Performance

Philippine and South Korean cultures are celebrated in the Magpasikat performance of Jhong Hilario and Ryan Bang for Showtime’s anniversary.

JHONG HILARIO AND RYAN BANG- On Tuesday, Jhong Hilario and Ryan Bang showcased their Magpasikat 2022 performance.

For this year, the teams for the Magpasikat are:

  • MONDAY – Anne Curtis, Ion Perez, and Jackie
  • TUESDAY – Jhong Hilario and Ryan Bang 
  • WEDNESDAY – Kim Chiu, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz 
  • THURSDAY – Vice Ganda and Amy Perez 
  • FRIDAY – Ogie Alcasid and Karylle 

The team of Anne Curtis has left many people touched and emotional with their performance that kicked off this event of their show’s anniversary. They tackled mother’s love – something that many can relate to.

And for Tuesday, the team of Jhong and Ryan left people in a festive as they creatively showcased the culture of the Philippines and South Korea through their performance. The same performance highlighted the good relationship between the two countries.

KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad appeared and embodied the traditional courtship of the country. Chunsa Jung, Kaori Oinuma, sisters Mela and Stella Francisco, and other guest performers appeared in their performance.

South Korean stars Sandara Park, Thunder, Nancy McDonie of Momoland, and K-pop groups TAN and Lapillus also sent special video messages that surprised the judges and the madlang people.

After the performance, Vice Ganda expressed how proud he is of her son Ryan.

He the comedian superstar quipped, “I am the proudest mom evah! Ang galing. Napakagaling mo, anak. Isinasapuso mo ang ginagawa mo.”

The judges for this year’s Showtime Magpasikat are Pia Magalona, actors Baron Geisler and John Arcilla, actress Janice de Belen, pop performer Darren Espanto, and ABS-CBN executive and Creatives Programs Inc. president Ernie Lopez.
