Lady Driver Flexes Her Framed Paper Driver’s License Online
A lady driver goes viral and earns reactions online after she showcased her framed paper driver’s license.
In the Philippines, obtaining a driver’s license is a rite of passage for many citizens. However, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the government agency responsible for issuing driver’s licenses, has been facing a significant challenge in recent months due to a shortage of plastic cards.
As a result of the card shortage, the LTO has resorted to printing driver’s licenses on paper temporarily. While this may come as a surprise to some, it is not the first time that the LTO has resorted to printing driver’s licenses on paper due to card shortages. The practice has been used in the past as a temporary measure until new plastic cards arrive.
The paper driver’s licenses issued by the LTO have a similar format to the plastic cards, containing the driver’s photo, personal information, and license details. They are printed on a durable and high-quality paper that can withstand wear and tear, ensuring that the license remains valid and legible.
Rose Ting, a Facebook user, recently shared a photo of her framed paper driver’s license from the Land Transportation Office (LTO). The post immediately spread like a wildfire online after it was posted on social media.
Ting flexed her framed paper driver’s license in the picture. Her license was too large to fit in her wallet. She spent P9,435.00 for a driver’s license.
The photo has a caption:
