Tito Sotto Reveals 400M Missing From EB, Disappointed At The Happenings

In an interview, Tito Sotto made some revelations.

TITO SOTTO – Amid the issues about Eat Bulaga, Tito Sotto granted an interview where he expressed his stand about it and revealed something.

Not dropping any names but Former Senate President Tito Sotto said that the reason why he granted a tell-all interview was for the sake of truth. He wanted to tell the real situation of the show as an “officer” had a not accurate interview about the issues surrounding Eat Bulaga.

He is the latest guest in “Updated with Nelson Canlas” and was able to make some clarifications about the ongoing controversy rocking the longest noontime show.

In the interview of the officer of the corporation, some statements made were accordingly false.

In the interview, he initially narrated the beginning of the show and explained the financial rhythm of the show. He shared that January to March was lean months while -Ber months were like “piyesta”.

There were always ups and downs but they also recover just like always the reason why they were able to carry on all those years.

And answering the question what happened suddenly, he answered: “Ang sabi sa ‘min, nalulugi raw. Kailangan daw, baguhin ang nagpapatakbo. At kailangan daw i-reinvent ang Eat Bulaga, at mayroon daw mga portion na bored sila.”

But the interview with an officer has changed something.

He went on, “Ang laki ng utang kay Vic at kay Joey. Mahigit tig-30 million pesos ang utang sa kanila, for 2022 alone.”

It’s also unbelievable that they are “nalulugi” because SEC documents accordingly showed 213 Million net profit for 2021 for TAPE. He told GMA News that TAPE should have earned more in 2022 because it was an election year and COVID-19 restrictions have eased.

Last year, a huge amount was also placed for political ads but 400 million pesos from this went missing.

“You better ask TAPE,” he said when asked where this huge amount went.

“I am disappointed, at the very least. I am disappointed at what’s happening. Lahat-lahat na,” he said.
