Darryl Yap reacted to Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes’s sweet photos
Actor Marco Gumabao “soft launched” his relationship with actress Cristine Reyes on social media and this received a funny “hugot” from director Darryl Yap.
Darryl was able to work with Cristine in the movies Maid in Malacanang and the sequel Martyr or Murderer while Marco joined the cast for the second part of the Marcos trilogy. Previously, Darryl would share photos of his bonding moments with the actress.
This simply proves that a strong friendship between them was formed and not just a work-related connection.
Back in March, rumors linking Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes surfaced online. It is because of their sweet photos together in Siargao. At that time, the actor was already hinting that this bond could lead to something deeper. He even said that Cristine is a wife-material.
Just recently, the soft launch happened. The actor shared sweet photos with the actress. Marco also does not mind the fact that Cristine is a single parent. The actress has a daughter named Amarah with her ex-husband Ali Khatibi.
Marco’s subtle relationship confirmation received a comment from Direk Darryl. The director shared the actor’s post on Facebook. Marco wrote, “You are home and my adventure all at once.”
Direk Darryl wrote in the caption of his post, “ge, nauna pa magkaHOME,” and tagged the FB pages of the two celebrities.
In another post, the director shared the screenshot of Marco’s Instagram post featuring the same photos and caption. Direk Darryl encircled the word “home.” In the caption of his post, the director wrote, “Walang Arki, nagkaHOME? edi kayo na.”
To recall, Direk Darryl was disappointed by the work that the architect he hired for his new house. Through his social media posts, the director narrated the incompetence of the said architect who also retaliated and defended himself.
