Event Organizer Shares Heartbreaking Story About Father’s Last Surprise for his Daughter
An event organizer saddened the hearts of netizens after sharing a heartbreaking story: “A father’s last surprise to his daughter”.
Ymer Gallejoy, a Facebook user, revealed a heartbreaking story about his customer’s last present for his teenage daughter. The post instantly spread online and touched many people’s hearts.
The story is about a man named Kuya Pidot, who was a devoted father to his daughter, Trexia. On March 27, Kuya Pidot and his wife, Ate Daisy, booked a car trunk surprise for Trexia’s 17th birthday at Ohrganza.
Kuya Pidot made sure to follow up with the arrangements regularly, calling, chatting, and video calling the organizers in the morning and at night to ensure everything was in order. He was eager to make his daughter happy and expressed his love for her with pure and great affection.
On April 14, the day of the surprise, Kuya Pidot called to inform the organizers that he couldn’t be present as he was at work. However, to their surprise, when the delivery was made, Kuya Pidot was actually there, filled with excitement even more than his daughter.
The surprise was a success, and Trexia was overjoyed, even shedding tears of happiness. Kuya Pidot, too, had tears in his eyes, showing the depth of his love for his daughter.
Despite having work commitments, Kuya Pidot couldn’t bear to leave and stayed to witness the joy on his daughter’s face.
However, later that afternoon, the organizers received devastating news that Kuya Pidot had passed away, presumably due to a heart attack while working at a construction site. The news brought immense sadness, and the organizers remembered the car trunk surprise they had planned to post the pictures of that day.
Kuya Pidot was remembered as a remarkable father who deeply loved his daughter.

Bahagi ka kung nasaan man kami ngayon. Isa ka sa mga mahahalgang tao sa komunidad.” Gallejos wrote.
