Paul Soriano is rumored to have prepared this large budget for Vanessa Hudgens
Is it true that director Paul Soriano has a $30 million budget for the documentary featuring Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens?
Direk Paul is also the Presidential Adviser on Creative Communications. His production company Ten17P produced the said travel documentary to promote the tourism industry in the Philippines.
Based on the article by entertainment writer Salve Asis in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Direk Paul allegedly talked to some businessmen to invest in the said documentary.
It was said that the production needs $30 million. Asis shared that some businessmen are apprehensive about it because this is a large amount of money. “May ilang nag-decline na raw na negosyante ayon sa narinig kong usapan,” the showbiz writer said.
To recall, Vanessa’s first visit to the Philippines became controversial. Many people questioned her credibility when she was named the Philippines’ Global Tourism Ambassador. There were those who said that she does not deserve this because she has no deeper knowledge of the history and culture of the home country of her mother.
Aside from that, Vanessa’s press conference became controversial also. It was alleged that Paul Soriano got angry with the press people and he stopped the one-on-one interview. The alleged behind this was that he wanted to give way to his wife Toni Gonzaga’s interview with the Hollywood actress.
Amid this issue, Direk Paul remained silent. It was rumored just recently that Toni’s supposed interview with Vanessa will not be aired because this was not approved by the Fil-Am’s agent in the US.
