Arnie Teves Claims 2 High-Ranking Officials in Government want him Dead

Cong. Arnie Teves Speaks on Alleged Threats for his Life

ARNIE TEVES – The Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative claimed that two (2) high-ranking officials in the government want him dead.

Congressman Teves who is accused as one of the alleged masterminds in the killing of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo has yet to return to the Philippines. He decided to stay abroad amid the accusations because of his fear for his life. He claimed that there are threats against him thus he decided not to go home to the country yet.

Teves was already in abroad when the killing of Degamo took place last March 4 at the Governor’s compound in Pamplona. His travel clearance expired last March 9 but he did not come home amid the calls from the House of Representatives and several people including his family.

Due to his failure to personally appear at the House of Representatives on the deadline set by the House ethics panel, Cong. Arnie Teves is suspended from his congressional seat for 60 days.

Recently, Cong. Arnie Teves claimed that two (2) high-ranking officials in the government want him dead. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Congressman said that the person who allegedly want to him killed committed a mistake when the order was done.

“Nung nag-order siya directly, dun siya nagkamali. Alam mo bakit? Nakalimutan nila lahat ng tao may kilala kahit saan eh. Walang usok na natatago. Nagle-leak ‘yung impormasyon,” the Congressman said.

According to Teves, there was allegedly an order to raid his house and kill him and just justify that he fought with the authorities. The Congressman did not name the two (2) high-ranking officials who allegedly want him dead.
