Gab Valenciano Claims He’s in a “Peaceful State” After Leaving Philippines
Singer-dancer Gab Valenciano shared that he is now in a peaceful state after permanently leaving the Philippines.
The son of “Mr Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano took to Instagram to express his joy at his father’s decision to leave the Philippines permanently and go to the United States. Gab stated in his Instagram story that being in the United States was one of the most serene and happy times of his life.
“The happiest and most peaceful state I’ve been in years,” Gab said.
He also uploaded images of his buddies in the United States, whom he met shortly after leaving the Philippines. Gab, as previously said, was now permanently residing in California, referring to his decision as a ‘new season’ and a ‘new chapter’ in his life.
“The past six years have been quite the journey. A lot of ups and downs and a whole lot of experiences that I believe have prepared me for this very moment. I am thankful for the people I’ve met and learned to love along the way. You all know who you are and I just want to say thank you and I love you, deeply. I wouldn’t be here if not for all of you.” Gab said.
“Thank you to all my loved ones for all your prayers. Just like in 2013 when I studied abroad, this is a huge leap of faith forward yet again, but I am grateful I’m able to constantly jumpstart my life and reinvent myself with God and my family by my side. That’s all what matters.” he added in the post.
Gary Valenciano and Angeli Pangilinan, his parents, backed their child’s decision. Gab went big on social media last year after actively participating in a candidate’s campaign. He is widely recognized in the Philippines and worldwide for his unique choreography and performances.
He has collaborated with a number of local and international artists, including Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, and Beyoncé. Gab, in addition to dancing, is a music producer who has published multiple albums and singles. He has also created music videos for performers such as his father, Gary Valenciano.
Aside from his job, Gab is well-known for his advocacy for mental health awareness, and he has freely acknowledged his personal experiences with depression and anxiety in order to help others who may be experiencing similar difficulties.
