Flexoffice Philippines Aims to Green Production

FlexOffice Philippines is working towards a sustainable development roadmap with a green production model from 2023 to 2027. By promoting green production and encouraging changes in user habits, FlexOffice Philippines expects to make a meaningful contribution towards the development of a green and sustainable economy, both locally in the Philippines and worldwide.

Thien Long Group – The number one stationery group in Vietnam

FlexOffice Philippines is part of the Thien Long Group Corporation, Vietnam’s number-one stationery brand. With a desire to provide a comprehensive stationery solution through a diverse and flexible range of high-quality products sold on multiple sales channels, FlexOffice Philippines was established to bring the power of knowledge to consumers in the Philippines.

Moreover, the company has achieved several accomplishments, such as exporting to over 70 countries worldwide with export revenue accounting for 18% of the revenue structure in 2020. It has been ranked 13 out of 40 office product companies with the highest revenue growth globally and named the best trading partner in the world for three consecutive years. Additionally, Plimsoll reported that the global stationery industry’s average growth in the last four years was 3.9% and recognized Thien Long Group Corporation as having the highest revenue growth in Southeast Asia.

FlexOffice’s world map would be incomplete without mentioning the Philippines – one of the potential markets that brings the largest revenue for the brand from Vietnam. Since entering the Philippines market, FlexOffice has made a mark on consumers not only with high-quality and diverse product offerings but also with reasonable pricing, timely responsiveness to customer needs, and meeting customer preferences and standards.

Actions for Green Production

In recent years, in the context of environmental pollution becoming more and more serious, climate change is considered an urgent global problem. This is like a warning bell to promote a green lifestyle to the throne and become the trend of the times. Faced with that situation, FlexOffice Philippines in particular and Thien Long Group in general have put the green production and consumption strategy on top.

In Vietnam, since February 2018, Thien Long Group has put into use a grid-connected solar power system with a capacity of 198.4 Kwp. This solar power system generates about 334,272 Kwh/year (on average, the system generates 27,856 kWh per month), significantly saving electricity consumption costs, reducing emissions to the environment by about 221 tons of CO2/ year, contributing to environmental protection and green economy development.

In 2022, FlexOffice Philippines held a DIY Contest for students in the Philippines with the message of reusing FlexOffice products to create useful items in daily life, making a small contribution to reducing plastic waste in the environment. The contest has attracted more than 2000 impressive and creative entries from students all over the Philippines.

FlexMarker – Comprehensive upgrade for the green environment

Back in the second quarter of 2023, FlexOffice Philippines will launch the “FlexMarker -Level Up Your Writing” campaign with the main FlexMarker product line. In this campaign, FlexOffice Philippines will focus on two products: the upgraded Whiteboard Marker FO-WB02 and Permanent Marker FO-PM014 with durable Acrylic nibs to help prolong use. In addition, the product is also equipped with a “rotate to refill ink” feature to help refill ink quickly and easily.

With these upgrades, FlexOffice Philippines wants consumers to extend the life of the product, thereby contributing to reducing the amount of plastic waste in the environment.

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recently released a report warning of severe plastic pollution in the world, with plastic use expected to nearly triple in less than four decades. Therefore, the use of plastic products must be more conscious, and using FlexMarker products is a simple but effective way to contribute to reducing plastic waste.

Currently, FlexOffice’s FlexMarker products are widely available at stationery stores and bookstores across the Philippines.

In line with the global trend, FlexOffice Philippines is committed to implementing a green production model to support a sustainable economy not only in the Philippines but also around the world. Through its products, the brand encourages people to be more aware of their consumption habits and contribute to a greener future.
