The project Konsyerto sa Palasyo is to set sail soon
President Bongbong Marcos initiated a project called Konsyerto sa Palasyo to showcase Filipino artists all over the Philippines.
There are indeed a lot of talented Filipinos. Many foreign nationals would comment that the Philippines is filled with singers and those who excel in performing arts. Some Filipino artists are fortunate enough to be acknowledged in the global scene.
The Malacañang Palace announced on April 13, Wednesday that a series of concerts will be held at the official presidential residence to showcase Filipino artists in different fields of performing arts, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
Artists from Cebu, Ilocos Norte, Quezon, Cavite, Iloilo, Metro Manila, and Davao are set to be featured.
PBBM was the one who initiated this project called Konsyerto sa Palasyo. The President wants to “highlight the nation’s rich culture and world-class talent.”
In a statement, Malacañang said that Marcos “believes that the creative industry should not be left out as the nation takes leaps of progress towards economic recovery.”
This series of concerts is set to start on April 22, Saturday. The first concert will be dedicated to the members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to express appreciation for their hard work in “maintaining the nation’s sovereignty, peace and security.”
“Members of the various branches of service of the AFP together with their families will be the guest audiences for the evening,” the official statement from Malacanang stated.
The concert will be live-streamed on different social media sites.
