4-Year-Old Boy Hailed as World’s Youngest Author After Writing Book About Goodness
WORLD’S YOUNGEST AUTHOR – A 4-year-old boy wrote a book about goodness and was recognized as the ‘world’s youngest author.
Saeed Rashed AlMheiri, a 4-year-old boy from Abu Dhabi, UAE, has made history by becoming the youngest author in the world. He achieved this remarkable feat by publishing a children’s book about the importance of kindness and friendship, titled “The Elephant Saeed and the Bear”.
According to the Guinness World Records, Saeed was officially recognized as the world’s youngest author on March 9, 2023, at the age of 4 years and 218 days. He sold over 1,000 copies of his book, making him eligible for the title.
The Guinness World Records organization confirmed that Saeed’s achievement had surpassed the previous record holder, who had written a book at the age of 6.
Saeed’s book tells the story of an elephant and a polar bear who develop an unlikely friendship based on kindness and mutual respect. The book’s themes reflect Saeed’s own beliefs about the importance of treating others with kindness and empathy.
“The elephant had a picnic and he saw a polar bear. He thought the bear was going to eat him but, in the end, the elephant showed kindness and said ‘let’s have a picnic together’! Then they became friends and showed kindness to each other,” Saeed said.
He was inspired to write the book by his older sister, AlDhabi, who herself made history by becoming the world’s youngest person to publish a bilingual book at the age of 8 years and 239 days.
“I love my sister so much and I enjoy playing with her all the time. We read, write, draw and do so many activities together. I wrote my book [inspired by her] as I felt that I could have my own book too,” he added.
Saeed’s parents are incredibly proud of their son’s achievement and have praised his determination and creativity. They have also expressed their hope that Saeed’s story will inspire other children to pursue their dreams and believe in themselves.

It’s great to know a 4 year kid could write an inspiring book. It’s an encouragement to other kids. I hope and prayer that parents could inspire their children in writing books as early as possible.
