Cops Arrest Man Who Allegedly Abuse 2 Nannies of his Child
The police authorities in Quezon City have arrested a male suspect accused of assaulting two nannies of his child.
The 28-year-old suspect identified as Michael Angelo Galit has been arrested for allegedly assaulting the two nannies of his child.
During his interrogation at the precinct, it was discovered that there was another nanny who had also been allegedly raped by the suspect. Galit’s actions were brought to light after he took the 17-year-old victim, who had been working for him for two weeks, to the barangay to report the theft of money.
“Nung nandun na sa barangay, umalis saglit ‘yung suspek then nag-iiyak na ‘yung bata. Tapos doon siya nag-reveal na ginalaw siya nitong amo niya,” Anonas Police Station Chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Vitto said.
Additionally, a 16-year-old female employee who had started working for the suspect as a nanny in February surfaced at the police station and claimed that she had been molested twice by the suspect.
She admitted to not reporting the incident to the authorities due to fear of the suspect’s threats. Galit has been charged with rape and statutory rape, and his two victims will undergo counseling to assist them in their recovery from the traumatic experience.
The police authorities are urging other individuals who may have fallen victim to the suspect’s assaults to come forward and report their experiences to the proper authorities.
“Mangyari lamang po na pumunta kayo sa amin dito sa station para makapagsampa ng kaukulang complaint dito sa ating suspek,” Vitto added.
