Fifth Solomon is a supportive friend of Alex Gonzaga
Director Fifth Solomon shared that he unfollowed the basher of his friend actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga.
Fifth and Alex’s friendship inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. They were part of the PBB All In edition and this year, they are celebrating their 10th anniversary as friends. Based on the article in Abante, the two celebrities consider each other as their sibling.
That is how close they are and their friendship continues to be stronger. If a conflict happened between them, it is easy for them to fix this and reconnect with each other. Fifth talked about their friendship in a recent interview for the movie Single Bells.
“Parang magkapatid na kami ni Alex, so parang automatic kami na nagkakaayos agad. So, minsan napapagalitan ko siya sa shoot pero alam na niya professional lang,” Fifth Solomon said.
With this kind of friendship, the director said that he is protective of Alex Gonzaga. If the actress-vlogger is getting bashed on Twitter, he is upset. He would sometimes share tweets as “patama” to bashers.
“Ako, naiinis ako kasi protective ako kay Alex. Kasi parang magkapatid na ang turingan namin. Eh, ‘pag family very protective ako, so minsan napapa-tweet, nagpaparinig din ako (sa mga basher),” the director said.
Fifth added that he felt the same toward people they know in the industry who bashed Alex. When asked if he talked to these bashers of Alex personally, the director said, “Ina-unfollow ko na lang, ‘di na ngayon uso ‘yung usap.”
Meanwhile, Fifth Solomon admitted that even though he directed Alex Gonzaga thrice already, it is still not easy for him to do this.
“Mahirap din kasi, siyempre pamilya kayo. Minsan hindi nawawala ‘yung parang mga biruan ninyo. With Alex naman, very transparent naman kami, mas straightforward kami magsalita sa isa‘t-isa, so mas madali,” the director said.
