BBM Welcomes Vanessa Hudgens As PH’s New Tourism Ambassador
VANESSA HUDGENS – President Bongbong Marcos Jr. welcomes Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens as the Philippines’ new tourism ambassador.
In order to document her Filipino heritage, Vanessa Hudgens is currently traveling throughout the Philippines. Vanessa’s relationships with her mother Gina, who immigrated to the United States from the Philippines when she was 25, her sister Stella, and her own ascent to fame will be the focus of the as-yet-untitled documentary.
Vanessa Hudgens has always taken pride in her Filipino heritage. “I feel like ours is such a relatable story to so many women all over the world,” she said.
“The more that we can share, the more we can lift each other up,” she added.
Yesterday, March 30, Vanessa Hudgens was chosen to represent the Philippines as a global tourism ambassador. President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. presented the title to the Filipino-American actress during a ceremony held in Malacaang.
According to the Palace, Vanessa fits in with the administration’s “efforts to promote Philippine tourism and raise the country’s status in the world.”
“Hudgens is seen to take part in a range of future initiatives to promote the nation’s unique culture and assist the country in reaching a wider global audience, creating awareness and conveying the Philippine brand as a tourist destination,” it noted.
