A beautiful journey it is, that made up of motherhood. However, it isn’t just beautiful but also a lifetime of an incredible journey. And Iza Calzado is just at the beginning and she’s already full of gratitude despite the challenges that tested her.
Previously, she introduced her daughter to the public through a social media post. She finally introduced her baby girl and gave the public a glimpse of her baby.
On Sunday, she shared a photo of her daughter showing her hands, mouth, and chin whose name is Deia Amihan Calzado Wintle.
She was born last January 26 and she immediately stole their hearts and brought so much joy to their lives.
Netizens were quick to grab the idea that she named her daughter after her iconic character Sang’gre Amihan from the GMA hit fantasy series “Encantadia”.And just recently, she shared how motherhood brought such overwhelming emotions to her.
In her new post, she shared a photo of her after crying. This moment was just a few days after she gave birth. It was a photo of her with mixed emotions about failures as a new mother and the deep love that she only felt for her daughter.
She admitted that the first few days were quite a punch and really hard. she is still recovering from it but every day just gets better and better.
“This is, by far, the most challenging yet fulfilling journey I have been on and I know it is only the beginning,” she said and added that she will navigate this chapter in the best way she knows which is with faith, compassion, gratitude, and love knowing she is divinely guided and supported.
