Ashley Ortega was asked about her past relationship
Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega reveals something about her ex-boyfriend Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala.
Early this month, Ashley confirmed her breakup with Mayor Alcala. She cited that their different priorities were one of the reasons why they decided to end their relationship last year. Following that breakup confirmation, the actress was linked to her Hearts on Ice leading man Xian Lim.
However, Xian and Ashley denied the rumors linking them romantically. It is known to many that the actor is in a relationship with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.
In a previous interview, Ashley Ortega said that she won’t let her breakup affect her first-ever lead role in a Kapuso primetime series. Right now, the actress said in a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, that her heart is fine.
She assured her fans and social media followers that she is okay now and she has already recovered from the breakup. āI didnāt tell anybody, so ngayon na you know Iām confirming it to people, I think Iām ready toā¦ itās about time na rin,ā she said.
The actress also said she confirmed the breakup because many people were asking why she was not seen in Lucena for a long time already. On the other hand, Ashley stressed that she has nothing against Mayor Alcala.
In an interview on Boy Abunda’s Fast Talk, the actress revealed that she is not friends with her ex-boyfriend. āNo. I have nothing against my ex. Itās just that itās hard to say that weāre friends, ācause after the breakup we never saw each other again and we never really talked to each other,” she said.
Ashley Ortega also admitted that she had a hard time moving on from the breakup. She felt that she was physically, emotionally, and mentally alone.
