Hailey Bieber Thankful to Selena Gomez for Speaking Out About Threats vs Her
International model Hailey Bieber is thankful to singer-actress Selena Gomez for speaking out about the threats she received.
The wife of international musician Justin Beiber thanks singer-actress Selena Gomez for defending her against claimed “death threats” and “hateful negativity.” Selena revealed on Friday, March 24, that Hailey has been subjected to online bullying and has asked for it to stop.
Selena stated this a month after Kylie Jenner supposedly tweeted a photo of herself and Hailey hitting on Selena. Hailey revealed that she and Selena have been discussing how to move past their ongoing feud for the past few weeks.
“I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing the last few weeks how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I,” Hailey said in her Instagram story this Saturday, March 25.
“The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful,” she added.
The model also noted how much social media is fostering divide, which appears to place her and Selena’s admirers in charge, including her ex-partner Justin Bieber.
“While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together. Things can always be taken out of context or interpreted differently than they were intended. We all need to be more thoughtful about what we post and what we say, including myself,” Hailey said.
“In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity, and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion,” she added in her story.
