A male student who was running late for class accidentally meets his professor at LRT: “Malapit na ako malate sa klase”.
A student named Rex Jacobe Imperial recently shared a humorous anecdote about an unexpected encounter with his professor on the LRT. The story quickly caught the attention of netizens, who responded with playful remarks and jokes.
According to Rex, he was running late for class and was rushing to get to school when he saw his professor on the train.
“Paalis na yung train noon so nagmamadali ako sumakay, talagang tumatakbo pa ako habang nasa labas pa ako ng station kasi nakita ko nang pumasok ung train sa station, alam ko na if I miss that train guaranteed na late na talaga ako,” Imperial said.
Despite feeling a bit embarrassed, Rex and his professor shared a laugh and made light of the situation.
“Nagtitigan kami bigla at nagulat nalang ako at medyo natawa sa loob tapos tinanong niya ako bigla kung taga saan ba ako,” Rex claimed.
To clarify, Imperial mentioned that even though he rode with his professor to class, he still wasn’t late.
“Naka-pasok ako mismo sa room mga 12:04 PM, [y]ung prof ko I think around 12:15 PM siya pumasok,” he claimed.
Although Rex’s story was meant to be lighthearted and amusing, it also raises an important point about punctuality and time management. Being late for class or other appointments can be disruptive and can negatively affect one’s academic or professional performance.
