Empoy Marquez is looking forward to settling down someday
Actor Empoy Marquez hopes that he will find his “forever” and that he would be able to have his own family someday.
Empoy is being tagged as the “new pogi” in showbiz. His status being a comedian is not usually featured as a leading man. However, he already did several projects in which he is not just the supporting actor.
His recent leading man project is the movie Walang KaParis with his Kita Kita leading lady Alessandra de Rossi.
In real life, Empoy Marquez also wants to have his leading lady. In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of Karen Davila, based on the article in Bandera, the actor expressed his desire to settle down someday.
He said that he is already at the right age and seeing his siblings have settled down already, he also wants this to happen to him. The actor admitted that before, it was difficult for him to find “the one” but he believes that now, the right timing is essential.
When asked if he courted Alessandra before, Empoy said that he just wants them to remain friends. “Mas masarap siyang kaibigan kaysa syota,” he added.
After almost six years, Empoy and Alessandra reunite on the big screen. Through that project, a strong bond was formed between them and they continue to be friends up to this day.
For their second movie together, Alessandra said in a previous interview that they are more comfortable with each other already. They have now more ideas regarding the personalities of each other and this helped them a lot in their project.
The actress also revealed that while they were shooting in Japan for Kita Kita, Empoy Marquez disappeared for several hours. Later on, they found out that he shopped in surplus stores.
