Lolit Solis Feels Lucky About Her Talents Amid Ogie Diaz-Liza Soberano Issue

Lolit Solis shared that she has no problem with her talents

Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis, who is also a talent manager, said that she feels lucky about her talents because she is not having problems with them.

Lolit has already spent many years in the entertainment industry. Aside from being a showbiz writer and commentator, her experience as a talent manager can also be an example to younger talent managers.

Amid the issue that is currently happening between actress Liza Soberano and her former talent manager Ogie Diaz, Manay Lolit shared her thoughts.

In an Instagram write-up, the showbiz writer said that she feels lucky about the celebrities she is handling. “Natatawa ako sa mga nangyayari ngayon between talents and managers, Salve. Ewan ko pero feeling ko napaka lucky ko sa mga alaga ko dahil hindi ako nagkaruon ng issue sa mga ito,” Lolit Solis said.

She stressed that she is not having a problem with her talents despite the fact that there are no existing contracts between them. “Lahat kami honor system lang, lahat base on trust,” she shared.

Lolit also said that she and the late talent manager Douglas Quijano had a rule that if the talent does not want to be managed by them anymore, they would willingly let go. She added that she has a personal rule that before she accepts a talent, there should be an emotional attachment first.

“Iyon mahal ko bago ko handle,” she explained, adding that so far, she has not encountered a problem. The showbiz writer also said the relationship between a manager and a talent is also like a family. Even though they would eventually separate, the good memories will still remain.

“Maliit lang ang showbiz, at magkikita kita kayo lagi, gusto mo bang lagi kang may iniiwasan, hindi maganda di ba?” Lolit Solis said. She added that word war should be stopped and staying quiet is classy.
