Man Dubbed as “Bon Jovi ng Olongapo” for Nailing ‘Bed of Roses’

A man singing the popular hit-song ‘Bed of Roses’ has been dubbed as “Bon Jovi ng Olongapo” because of his impressive singing voice.

This guy from Kalaklan, Olongapo has become quite popular among many people because he allegedly sounds like Bon Jovi. The man has gained a considerable following for his singing talent, which is said to be reminiscent of the famous American rock singer.

The video, shared by Ivler Jayson Jimenez, shows the man’s cousin, Ronald Demetrio, singing “Bed of Roses” while drinking with him. Ronald’s voice can be clearly heard in the video, and it is extremely impressive.

According to Ivler, his cousin can replicate the vocals of many other slow rock singers, like Air Supply and April Boy.

Despite his vocal ability, Ronald appears to have a visual impairment in the video. His eyes were allegedly pierced by a wire while working as a construction worker last year, making it impossible for him to see properly.

He can be seen frowning and attempting to open his eyes fully in the footage.

The video has been widely shared on social media, with many people praising the man’s singing ability. Some have even urged for him to be given the opportunity to perform on a larger stage, such as a singing competition or concert.

“Nag iinom po kase kami nun idol ko talaga pinsan ko matagal npo dhl marami syang kayang gayahing boses pero bon jovi talaga boses nya.. tapos naisip ko vedieohan sya at ipakita sa lahat para namn makilala sana sya,” Jimenez said.
