Cristy Fermin shared her reaction to the Liza Soberano-Ogie Diaz issue
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin showed support for talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz amid the issue with actress Liza Soberano.
Ogie answered Liza’s statements on Boy Abunda’s Kapuso talk show Fast Talk. He clarified his side when it comes to the commission issue and the accusation against him that he was just present during contract signings and has not visited his talent on the set of her projects.
The talent manager also stressed that he is not creating lies to tarnish the name of his former talent. He said that he even showed support for Liza when she started pursuing a career in Hollywood.
With this, many showbiz fans rallied behind Ogie. He also showed appreciation to those who message him amid this issue. On the other hand, fans of Liza also defended her side.
One of the people who defended Ogie Diaz was Cristy Fermin. The talent manager considers the veteran writer as his mentor in showbiz when he started in the industry as a showbiz writer.
In a recent Cristy Per Minute episode, based on the Twitter post shared by KPIE Official, the veteran writer shared that right after Liza released her vlog, Ogie sent a message to her.
Cristy said that Ogie has never done “paninira” to his talents. She also said that she can see Ogie’s emotions and that he still wants to understand Liza. Then, the veteran showbiz writer read the message that the talent manager sent her.
“I know you Ate Cris, pero huwag masyado. Kawawa naman si Liza, anak ko pa rin siya,” Cristy Fermin shared Ogie Diaz’s message, adding that the talent manager requested not to attack so much Liza because he still considers her as his “anak.”
