Star Magic Head Direk Rahyan Slams Illegal Recruiters Using His Name
The head of Star Magic workshops Director Rahyan Carlos warned the public against illegal recruiters allegedly using his name.
Direk Rahyan has often warned aspiring performers to be wary of con artists who promise to make them famous but then fail to deliver. Direk Rahyan issued another public warning on Facebook about phony auditions and casting calls.
According to the director, someone is preying on aspiring youngsters by utilizing the moniker Star Magic Workshops and his identity. He stressed that they do not organize auditions for any film or television series. He also stated that no auditions where talent is forced to strip are held.
“It has come to our attention that someone is using my name and Star Magic Workshops name and reputation to lure people to audition and prey on minors. Uulitin ko po hindi kami nagpapa-audition para sa anumang pelikula or TV series at lalo nang hindi kami magpapa-audition kung saan kinakailangang maghubad ang talent,” he said.
