Maegan Aguilar Mother Urges Her to Undergo Rehab After Tested Positive for Drug Use
The mother of Maegan Aguilar has urged her daughter to undergo rehabilitation after testing positive for drug use.
For the first time, Maegan’s mother, Josephine Queipo, speaks out about her daughter’s case on social media. Josephine discussed her daughter’s problem with OPM icon Freddie Aguilar.
Josephine Queipo voiced her support for her daughter despite the latter’s difficulties due to health and financial issues. Josephine responded to Magan’s remark about Tulfo, asking that her daughter should consent to be rehabilitated.
“Do the rehab, Megs, and doors will open up again,” Josephine told her daughter in the comment section.
Maegan said that she would rather be in recovery than live with her family again. Based on her response to her mother’s comment, she even addressed her mother as a stranger.
“Oh hello stranger! Of course I’ll do the rehab, I have a far better chance of getting better w/ the support system there rather than having you and tatay back in my life again,” she said in her post.
It’s unclear whether Maegan had already changed her mind and accepted Tulfo’s offer to go to treatment. Maegan, as previously said, became popular on social media after publicly pleading with her father to assist her.
She also requested the assistance of Sen. Raffy Tulfo, however, the show eventually chose to withdraw their support for Maegan for reportedly lying about her vices. Even Maegan’s father confessed that he would not allow the singer to visit her children until she changed her ways.
