Judy Ann Santos has a different dynamic now when it comes to her acting project
Soap opera queen Judy Ann Santos said that she prefers having no network contract now and this is the reason behind this.
Having a network contract means stability in one’s career in showbiz for a certain period of time. It is because artists are sure that there will be certain projects that will be given to them and they will be assured financially as well.
However, at this time of her career, Juday said it is better for her not to have a network contract. Her contract with her home network ABS-CBN expired in early 2019, based on the article in Inquirer.
She said that she prefers this way now because her work would now depends on the amount of energy that she has. Aside from spending time attending to her business, Judy Ann Santos is also focused on taking care of her family.
Without a contract that would bind her in certain projects, the actress said that she still has time to rest. “I’ve always had a very honest and open relationship with ABS-CBN when it came to doing a teleserye or any project they gave me. Yes, we’ve had misunderstandings along the way, but we always resolved them eventually,” the actress said.
She was thankful that ABS-CBN still gave her the project Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan amid the pandemic and even though she no longer has a contract with the Kapamilya network.
“With my life today as a wife and mother, I’m very much content. I can’t ask for anything more. I’m very much settled where I am,” the Soap opera queen said.
When comes to her creativity as an artist, Juday expressed that she wants to be more involved in the process. She wants to be the one who is calling the shots. “This is not because I’ve now turned into a diva, but because work would now depend on the amount of energy I have,” Judy Ann Santos explained.
