Judy Ann Santos did this when she received a TV series offer outside ABS-CBN
Queen of Philippine Soap Opera Judy Ann Santos admitted the inquiries reached her camp from GMA-7 but she considers this fact.
Juday has been in the industry since she was just a young girl. From being a child actress, she became a teleserye queen who has done amazing roles on TV and on the big screen. Her entire career in showbiz was spent under her home network, ABS-CBN.
Although she has no existing contract with the Kapamilya network, she still talked to Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast of ABS-CBN Corporation Cory Vidanes to tell her about the TV series that she will do outside her home network. The actress said this in a recent interview that was posted on Kapamilya Kingdom YouTube channel.
For Juday, this was sort of “pagpaalam” to the Kapamilya executive. “Ipinaalam ko ng maayos,” she said that even though she has no contract with the Kapamilya network, she feels that it would be a sort of cheating on her home network because all her life, she was doing her series under ABS-CBN.
The actress also shared that as of now, there is no confirmation yet when it comes to the platform on which it will be shown. Judy Ann Santos revealed that what they talked about was her role and how they will do the project. She was told that the platform might vary.
When asked if she received offers from GMA-7, she said, “may mga nag-iinquire pero syempre I have to, kailangan ko muna kasi kamaduhin kung ano ba talaga talaga kaya ng powers ko.”
Above this, she is still considering the deep relationship she has with ABS-CBN. “Kung among meron man ako with ABS, I value and treasure that,” Judy Ann Santos said, adding that if ever GMA-7 will offer her something, she still needs to communicate about this with ABS-CBN.
