Liza Soberano Speaks on Relationship w/ Parents
LIZA SOBERANO – The young actress admitted that she has resentment to her parents and she does not talk to them like a child but like a friend.
Forevermore actress Liza Soberano is one of the most beautiful faces in the Philippine showbiz industry. Currently, she is establishing her career abroad and she is starting from the bottom on her dream to also find her path in Hollywood.
Hope Elizabeth Soberano in real-life, the young actress was born in Santa Clara, California. Her father, John Castillo Soberano, is from Pangasinan. Her American mother, Jacqulyn Elizabeth Hanley, is from Santa Clara, California. She was 10 years old when she moved to Manila.
However, during her recent vlog interview with Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo in the lie detector test segment, Liza Soberano revealed that is closer to her grandparents than her parents.
When asked if she has resentment towards her parents that she grew up under the care of her grandparents instead of them, Liza Soberano answered yes. When asked if she has talked to her parents about it, she explained that she never had a relationship with her parents where they would talk about anything. She believes that a discussion will not change things. The actress also revealed that she does not talk to her parents like a child but like a friend.
“If I just bring up the resentment and everything, it won’t get resolved because the situation won’t change. I guess, there would be peace in my heart but I feel content with whatever I have,” the actress said.
Liza calls her grandparents “Daddy and Mommy”. With regards to her decisions, the actress expressed that her grandparents have their opinions but they don’t meddle with her decisions like when she decided to be an actress. Here’s the vlog interview posted on YouTube:
